Here is some practical advice that we invite you to follow.

1. Pass on correct information to your customers

Be responsible for the behaviour of their customers during the tourist entertainment activities they develop, ensuring, through the information provided at the beginning of the activity (eco-briefing) and the monitoring of the group, that good environmental practices are followed.

2. Ensure that your employees have adequate training.

Ensure that the technicians responsible for accompanying groups in natural spaces have the appropriate training and profile to perform this function, both in terms of information on natural resources and the principles of their conservation, and in terms of group management and animation.

3. Opt for small groups

When you organize walks, opt for small groups at a time, as too many visitors can cause erosion and destruction of vegetation.

4. Preserve the local heritage

Respect and preserve the elements of natural or cultural heritage. Promote the consumption of local products.

5. Don't leave waste

During your outings with clients, be prepared and take a bag to keep all the waste you produce. Then deposit it in the appropriate place. Encourage your clients to do the same.

6. Separate the waste produced

If waste separation and disposal is difficult, for example in remote areas visited by your guided tours, collect your clients’ waste and dispose of it responsibly at the end of the tour. Or you can encourage them to take their waste back to their accommodation so that they can dispose of it properly.

7. Go for an electric fleet

Promote efficient mobility, prefer an electric fleet. Electric mobility will be the decisive factor in reducing your company’s carbon footprint.

8. Light fires only in the appropriate places

During outings with clients, only light fires in places authorised for this purpose.

9. Respect natural values

Noise and disturbance of wildlife should be avoided, especially in places of shelter and reproduction. Fauna should be observed from a distance, preferably with binoculars or other appropriate optical equipment.

10. Take only photographs

Take only photographs, as they serve as a memory of good times spent and register the beauty of the landscape. Respect the natural values, do not pick plants or take geological samples, allow for other visitors contemplate the richness.

11. Re-usable containers

If during the visit you need to take food and drink, use reusable thermal boxes that keep them at the ideal temperature for consumption. Avoid using single-use plastics.
